Yashichi Watanabe
Right next to the Takizakura, about 50m down from the famous cherry tree, you will find Yashichi Watanabe's lovely shop. Yashichi practices frog calligraphy, a rather unusual specialty. He composes kanjis and roman letters by painting frogs in various postures.
Come by the shop and have a look at his many paintings and handmade postcards.
The shop also features works by his two daughters, Anri and Azusa Watanabe, as well as some of Yoshida-san's pottery.
